Kid's Craft: Foam Glasses Case
Materials Needed:
Craft foam (sheet form)
Hot glue
Decorations (jewels, markers, foam shapes, etc.)
For a medium-sized case, large enough for large children's glasses up to medium adult glasses, you need a 7" by 7 ½" piece of sheet foam in the color of your choice. (Adjust the size as needed if you're dealing with really small or really large glasses.) The 7" will be your height. Fold the piece in half and carefully hot glue the bottom and side edges, leaving the top open. Work quickly so that the hot glue doesn't cool off before it's all stuck together. Try to keep the glue from squeezing out the edges too much, as hot glue is difficult to trim. Trim the top edge in a curve for ease of getting the glasses in and out. Decorate the outside as desired.
