Graph/Grid Paper
Graph or grid paper has many uses in school. Of course you will need to use it quite a bit in the higher maths, but even younger children can find it helpful in math if your child has trouble keeping their larger numbers lined up properly for big math problems, use the graph paper to keep things neat and orderly. (My 6th grade gifted teacher taught me this trick thank you!) Of course, graph paper comes in handy for line and bar graphs.
Grids can also be used for art (put a grid over/under a picture, then copy the picture over one section at a time) and map skills. The large one-inch grid could also be used for making charts such as chore charts, daily task charts, etc.
With these handy printables, you can just print out as many copies as you need, of whatever size is needed, without the possibility of wasting most of a pack of paper that you didn't need!
